Homelessness Action Summit

  • Homeless Action Summit

Don't miss our Homelessness Action Summit on Monday, February 24th at 7:30 at Campbell Hall at UCSB, and help us generate even more momentum to solve local homelessness. We have nationally renowned speakers Becky Kanis and Philip Mangano and will be recruiting volunteers to engage with those experiencing homelessness.

From the north

Take US-101 to the Los Carneros Road exit; turn right onto Los Carneros and follow across Hollister Avenue (the third traffic signal) to the fourth traffic signal and turn left on Mesa Road. Continue straight on Mesa Road past the stop sign near the Fire Station. Turn right at the second traffic signal, University Plaza, and park in lots 12, 16 or 18.

From the south

Take US-101 to the CA-217/Airport/UCSB exit. CA-217 will lead you directly to the Henley Gate (East Gate) entrance of UCSB. There is a traffic circle just inside the gate. Take the right fork onto Mesa Road. Continue on Mesa Road to the second traffic signal, University Plaza. Turn left at the signal and park in lots 12, 16 or 18.

The UCSB campus is also served by MTD. For current bus schedules, call (805) 963-3366 or visit the MTD website.

Parking

A UCSB permit is required to park on campus. Arts & Lectures’ patrons can buy open-ended evening (5pm) and weekend parking permits from the ticket office for $4. Permits cannot be refunded or replaced, and cannot be held at will call. If you do not have a prepaid permit from Arts & Lectures, you must purchase one on campus. Each parking lot will have a machine that vends permits with credit card or cash (no change given). Parking in designated ADA spaces requires a valid UCSB parking permit be displayed. UCSB parking fees are subject to change.

Monthly evening & weekend parking permits (valid for 30 days) are also available for only $16 from any parking dispenser in any campus parking lot.
